Hasbro Takara Tomy Transformers Missing Link C-14 Ironhide Action Figure
TF-09-10030Pre-Order, Release January 2027
Lost dreams connect across time! The "Missing Link" series presents a virtual reissue of what might have existed in that era. The 14th installment features Ironhide, the Autobot security guard! Ironhide was released overseas in 1984 as part of the initial lineup, but sales were not carried over to Japan when it was introduced in 1985.
The original product separated from the car into two mechs, with the robot part being a power loader type that differed significantly from the appearance depicted in the anime, and the head being recreated with a sticker placed on the seat through the windshield.
This time, Missing Link takes on the challenge of creating a virtual reissue of what Ironhide might have been like if it had been made with a heroic concept on par with the other Autobots, and in a style closer to the anime. Ironhide transforms from a red Nissan Cherry Vanette-type minivan into a robot. While retaining the construction that uses zinc alloy in some parts, it transforms from a car mode that closely resembles the original product into a heroic robot mode in one piece, and in robot mode you can freely pose it in action.
Furthermore, it can transform into a third mode, "Respect Mode," which is inspired by the robot mode of the original product. The "Drill" equipment that appeared in the anime and the "Laser" from the original toy are included as plated parts, and the rocket launcher mounted on the back can have its rocket attached and detached, and the drill and rocket can also be stored inside the backpack. Some of the patterns that were reproduced with stickers at the time have been reproduced with three-dimensional sculpting and coloring. Foil stickers that can be applied as desired are also included.
A "human" (female type) figure of the same type as the one included with C-11 Delta Magnus (sold separately) is also included and can be placed in the cockpit in any mode. A "secret emblem" is also attached to the robot body, and the legion mark will appear when warmed with your finger. The back of the robot is equipped with a joint hole for a stand sold separately, so it can be displayed in action poses. The package illustration is a newly drawn illustration inspired by the time, and a collection card is also included.
